Thank you for making our experience the best ever! |
Program :
International Co-operative 2004
(...) I sincerely want to thank you guys for making our International Co-op 2004 experience the best ever! At the time I don't think any of us really thought that it would make such an impact on our lives as it did. Now when I am back to my old lifestyle I realize how meaningful my time spent in Ecuador was to me. Who would have thought I would miss my cold showers on the street! haha! None of this could have been possible without you and Samuel's hard work and effort put into taking care of each of us. Above all, I truly appreciated your patience and sincerity which you surrounded us with and the times you reassured us when the smallest problem would seem like an insurmountable obstacle. You were not merely a teacher to us but also our friend that we could always trust and rely upon. I am ever so grateful since you took time out of your busy schedule to solve all my passport problems and without you nothing would have been as easy as it was. You guys not only welcomed us into your hearts but also your home and I don't think any of those memories will ever be forgotten. I Hope you have the best time with the Int'l Co-op group next year and wish you success in all your future endeavours.

The best part of my life were those 3 1/2 months I spent in Ecuador |
Program :
International Co-operative 2004
I have been in Canada for over a week now and I really, really miss Ecuador. I had such a wonderful experience there and I just want to thank you for everything. You did a very good job of keeping us safe and making sure that we had a wonderful time, I just want to thank you as I am so greatful for everything that you and Samuel have done. Thank you so much, and I know that there could not be another person who could make this program better than how you made it. I just can not thank you enough. I had a wonderful experience with my host family, and an interesting experience at my work placement. I also enjoyed going to many of the different places in Ecuador, including the Miss. Universe pagent. The best part of my life were those 3 1/2 months I spent in Ecuador, and I just want to thank you.
Life is very different here in Canada and every day I am so sad and wish that I was back to my favourite place on earth, Ecuador. I miss everything, the mountains, the people, the language, the way of life and yes I really miss my host brother. (...) Well anyways I have to go but I hope that I can still remain in touch with you and Samuel, and once again thank you for everything.

My experience there gave me so much |
Program :
Glasgow University 2003
(...)
Ecuador is never far from my mind. I think often of the people I met there and wonder how they are. My experience there gave me so much. It is a breathtaking country. I can still feel the brightness of the sun and the smell of eucalyptus trees on the wind near Cotopaxi. I hope that I will be able to visit again one day. But if I never do, then I have some very happy memories to enjoy.

Thank you for the opportunities. |
I just wanted to thank you for the excellent work you and your collegues did in co-ordinating the ICE trip for the students. Our daughter had a wonderful time. Her work experience has been invaluable. She loves her family placement. The exposure to a new culture, language and way of life has broadened her mind and enriched her life. The program contained a perfect mix of events with other students on education days and immersed in life in Ecuador. Thank you for the opportunities.
